We are seeking a Board Certified Gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage at an acute care hospital in Bellingham, WA. Please see full job details below.
Job Responsibilities
• 8am–5pm, 8-hour day shift
• Weekends/evenings/nights when on call (currently covered through August)
• Outpatient clinic and endoscopy center coverage
• Rounding, admissions, inpatient/outpatient GI procedures
• Case types include: EGD, Flex Sig, Colonoscopy
• Works alongside another GI MD in the practice
Qualifications
• Washington medical license required by start (IMLC or pending OK)
• Must be proficient in Epic EMR
• Experience with EUS and ERCP preferred but not required
• Capsule reading experience helpful; manometry not required
Working Hours
• 8-hour shift typically, varies with call coverage
• Outpatient clinic and endoscopy + occasional call coverage
Skills
• Comfortable with EGD, Flex Sig, and colonoscopy
• EPIC charting system
• Works with another GI MD (not solo)
• Call covered through August, frequency TBD
• 251-bed acute care hospital
