Job Opportunity: Locum - Physician - Gastroenterology in Petoskey, MI
Join a dynamic healthcare facility in Petoskey, Michigan, where you will provide exceptional care as a Gastroenterology physician. This opportunity involves a Monday to Friday schedule from 7 AM to 4:30 PM and offers a collaborative environment with a supportive team. The facility is equipped with onsite labs, XRay services, and utilizes Cerner EMR, ensuring you have the tools you need to excel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform ERCP procedures as required.
- Manage up to 18 outpatients and 20 inpatient scopes per day.
- Collaborate with 2 physicians and 2 APPs in a hospital clinic setting.
- Engage with onsite laboratory and imaging services to deliver comprehensive care.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for efficient patient management and documentation.
- Participate in regular team meetings and patient care activities.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of fellowship training with relevant experience.
- Active Michigan medical license and CSR required at submission.
- Must have ACLS certification.
- Clear background with no actions (minimum malpractice is acceptable).
- COVID vaccine is required.
- ERCP competency is mandatory.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Michigan medical license.
- Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) in Michigan.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
- Verbal confirmation of DEA required at name clear.
