  • Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Inpatient and Outpatient coverage

  • OR, Consults, Rounding

  • No Clinic Time

  • Call begins and ends outside of daily rate hours

  • Coverage for 7 days (Friday PM to Friday PM)

  • Bids must include a daily rate and an on-call rate

• Call Requirements:

  • No clinic time associated with call

  • Call Only OR Scheduled Hours + Call, based on needs

• Patient Volume: 11–13 patients per day

Procedures Preferred (Not Required Unless Stated):

• Upper GI Endoscopy:

  • With biopsy

  • With foreign body removal

  • With fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser)

  • With injection of varices

• ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography):

  • Diagnostic

  • Therapeutic

• PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) Placement

• Esophageal Procedures:

  • Esophageal dilatation

  • Esophageal manometry

  • Esophageal manometry interpretation

• Small Bowel Biopsy

• Lower GI Endoscopy:

  • Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible and Rigid)

  • Colonoscopy:

    • With biopsy

    • With excision of polyp

• Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

• Liver Biopsy

• Insertion/Management of Sengstaken-Blakemore Tube

Additional Notes:

• Preference for providers comfortable performing a broad range of GI procedures, but these skills are preferred and not required.

• Assignment is assigned but currently listed as unassigned for Monday–Friday clinical needs.
