Physician - Gastroenterology-Pueblo, CO

(Open to J1 or H1B candidates)

Job Type: Perm/Full-time

Job Description:

  • Diagnose and treat a wide variety of gastrointestinal conditions, focusing on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to improve outcomes.
  • Perform advanced ERCP procedures, utilizing state-of-the-art endoscopy equipment to diagnose and treat complex gastrointestinal disorders.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of gastroenterologists, as well as other medical professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in a shared on-call rotation, which includes weekend coverage, ensuring continuous patient care at Parkview Medical Center.
  • Utilize the EPIC EMR system for seamless documentation and communication, paired with advanced endoscopy tools to provide precise and efficient treatment.
  • Contribute to a high-volume, high-producing gastroenterology group, handling a diverse caseload in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Access ongoing professional development through CME opportunities, and work in a supportive, physician-led team environment that encourages career growth.

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO, Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Gastroenterology - REQUIRED
  • Active CO License (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED.
  • Experience with ERCP Procedures - highly preferred (please note # of years of experience).
  • Current COVID Vaccination - REQUIRED.
  • Visa Support: J1 or H1B candidates are eligible for visa sponsorship.
