- Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 3 is looking for a provider to In-house call only. The gastroenterologist will be responsible for performing approximately 12 procedures per shift, including EGD and colonoscopies, with advanced procedures preferred. Candidates must be comfortable administering IV sedation if anesthesia support is unavailable.

Job Responsibilities
- Administer IV sedation when anesthesia support is unavailable.
- Diagnose and manage a variety of gastrointestinal conditions through endoscopic procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in performing EGD, colonoscopies, and advanced GI procedures preferred.
- Comfortable administering IV sedation when necessary.
Working Hours
- Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, with potential call coverage as needed.
- Weekend and evening coverage dependent on facility requirements.

- Ability to manage patients requiring IV sedation in the absence of anesthesia support.
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration within a hospital setting.
