Job Responsibilities
Beeper call only
Inpatient setting
Average 10 patients/day
3 admissions/day
Call response time: 30 minutes.
Qualifications
IL medical license or IMLC
Board-eligible or certified in Gastroenterology
Fellowship trained
BLS and ACLS are required
EPIC EMR experience preferred

Skills
Upper and lower GI endoscopy (with biopsy and polyp removal)
Foreign body removal
Cautery for bleeding
Variceal injection
Small bowel biopsy
Sigmoidoscopy
Colonoscopy
PEG placement (preferred)
ERCP, EUS, and liver biopsy (preferred but not required)
