Position Details:

Schedule & Availability:
- April 29 – May 04 (7a - 7a)
- May 25 – June 02 (7a - 7a)
- June 14 – July 14 (7a - 7a)
- July 27 – Aug 09 (7a - 7a)
- Aug 16 – Aug 20 (7a - 7a)
- Sept 19 – Sept 28 (7a - 7a)
- Oct 05 – Dec 31 (7a - 7a)
Responsibilities:
- Setting: Inpatient
- Duties: General inpatient gastroenterology coverage, including procedures and ER call coverage.
- Patient Load: Census varies, typically low (max seen: 6 patients).
- Procedures: General GI procedures; ERCP is not required (patients can be transferred if needed).
EMR System:
- EPIC
Support Staff:
- Trained hospital staff in GI.
Travel & Lodging:
- Travel and lodging arrangements per facility guidelines.
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology – Required
- Iowa State License or IMLC (must be in hand) – Required
- GI Fellowship – Required
- Availability at time of name clear – Required
- Must include a copy of IMLC at time of name clear
