We are seeking a Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist in Ohio.

Position Details:
- Patient Population: Adult
- Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
- Responsibilities:
- Outpatient procedural coverage: Performing screening and diagnostic colonoscopies, EGD, and food bolus care (no ERCP or EUS).
- On-call coverage: Seven consecutive days of 24-hour call, responding within 30 minutes by phone and 60 minutes on-site if necessary.
- Required Procedures: Colonoscopy, EGD, food bolus removal.
- EMR System: EPIC
- Support Staff: Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) available for pre-procedure patient assessment.
- Days Per Month: 10 days of outpatient procedures & 7 days of on-call coverage.
- On-Call/Weekends: Yes, one week per month (24-hour call).
Compensation Package:
- Competitive hourly rate of $425/hr.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Active Ohio license required (IMLC not accepted).
- Certifications: ACLS, DEA, CSR License.
- Experience: Minimum one year.
- Credentialing: Full and temporary privileges available (estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days).
