JOB DESCRIPTION:
Medical center in eastern North Carolina is seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist to lead their growing practice. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefit package included.
The successful candidate will serve as chief of the Division of Gastroenterology and as the Service Line Executive Director-Metabolic and Digestive. Applicants should have a desire to foster a collaborative teaching and research environment between fellows and faculty and have a proven record of clinical leadership.
Highlights include:
Opportunity for academic appointment
Opportunity to lead an active GI service inclusive of an outpatient clinic, ASC, inpatient endoscopy suite, and assist with oversight of regional services
Established practice with 9 experienced gastroenterologists and 2 NPs
State of the art outpatient endoscopy center and newly renovated inpatient GI lab inclusive of 3 interventional rooms and 20 pre and post procedure bays
Inpatient support by GI hospitalist program
Opportunity to participate and lead recruitment efforts, quality initiatives, strategic growth, and provider development
Protected weekly procedure days
Procedures will include general gastroenterology cases with support from three advanced endoscopists
Full motility study program
Large referral network
