One of our clients in IL needs assistance with Gastroenterology locum tenens coverage. Here are some of the details.
What MDSP offers: Travel expenses, malpractice, and credentialing are take care of on your behalf.

- Location: 1.5 hours from Springfield, IL.
- Facility: 489 bed facility
- Coverage needed: Monday - Friday, day coverage,OT rate for patient care after 5pm. No weekends or On call.
- Practice details: 40% clinic, 60% GI procedure lab based on average of last 30 cases. Sedation is procedure sedation or mAC based on criteria. Separate MAC blocks for patients that meet MAC criteria.
- ERCP not required. Prefers a provider who does advanced procedues but is able to utilize someone who does not.
- Support Staff: 6 full time and 2 part time Ambulatory APPS in clinic. RN/CMA and MA in clinic. RN and Surg tech in procedures.
- CPR Certifications required: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA),
- Must be Board Certified/ Eligible in Gastroenterology, active IL license
