Job Opportunity: Physician - Gastroenterology in Griffin, GA
Join a leading gastroenterology practice dedicated to patient-centric care in the vibrant city of Griffin, Georgia, where innovation meets expertise. As part of a large network, you will be joining a team of over 200 providers and will serve the community at the Griffin and Locust Grove Medical Offices, with easy access to nearby cities including Peachtree City and Fayetteville. Job Responsibilities:
- Cover Griffin and Locust Grove Medical Offices.
- Work alongside a team of 3 MD/DOs and 4 clinic-based Advanced Practice Providers.
- Maintain a Monday to Friday work schedule.
- Manage approximately 15-18 patients per day.
- Participate in a 1:4 single hospital call schedule at Wellstar Spalding.
- Perform various services and procedures including Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, Enteroscopy, Hemorrhoid Banding, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Infusion, Telehealth, and more.
- Explore opportunities for advancement within this well-established practice.
- Consider new graduates as well as those needing to regain Board Certification.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Georgia medical license or willingness to obtain.
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) required.
- DEA certification (must obtain prior to starting).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board certification in Internal Medicine.
- Board certification in Gastroenterology.
- Georgia state medical license (or willingness to obtain).
