Gastroenterologist – Perm Placement in Ashtabula, OH
Position Overview:
Ashtabula Regional Medical Center, an affiliate of the Cleveland Clinic, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic, growing employed multi-specialty group practice in Ashtabula, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician committed to providing high-quality outpatient care within a supportive and well-resourced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient gastroenterology services, including consultation, diagnosis, and management of gastrointestinal disorders.
- Conduct 15-20 patient visits daily, ensuring efficient and thorough care.
- Collaborate with a team of two physicians, an experienced urologist, and fully trained support staff including an advanced practice provider.
- Manage outpatient procedures and interventions, with scheduled blocked time in the operating room for procedures.
- Utilize the fully integrated EMR system (EPIC) within the Cleveland Clinic Health System for seamless documentation and care coordination.
- Engage with a well-defined referral network drawn from employed and affiliated primary care physicians, supported by onsite lab and X-ray facilities.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Must reside within 40 miles of Ashtabula or be willing to relocate
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Eligible for H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorships

Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary aligned with MGMA guidelines, with salary expectations welcomed during the interview process.
- Negotiable sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, including potential support for real estate purchase.
- Three-year contract offering guaranteed base salary for the first two years, with productivity-based compensation in year three.
