Locum Gastroenterology Physician Assignment in Wisconsin - Licensing Covered

Gastroenterology Locums - No Call Required in Wisconsin!

We have an ongoing locums need for a Gastroenterology Physician, offering block scheduling with no call. This is an excellent interim assignment to supplement your income and fit around your current commitments.

Practice Setting

• Mix of Inpatient and Outpatient coverage.
• Adult patients only.
• Support staff includes 1 PA, 1 RN, 2 MAs, and a receptionist team.

Schedule

• 2 weeks per month through the first quarter of 2026 and ongoing need throughout the year.
• Monday and Tuesday are a combination of clinic and procedures.
• Wednesday through Friday are procedures only.

Procedures and Cases

• Routine general GI procedures are the focus.
• 10-14 procedures per day expected.
• Must be proficient in EGD and Colonoscopies.
• ERCP and EUS are not required.

Requirements

• Must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
• Active BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 12 months of experience post-residency.
• Open to Physicians who need Wisconsin licensure.

Credentialing Requirements

• Standard credentialing timeframe is 90 days.
• Temporary privileges can be granted for a faster start.
