Exciting Locum Opportunity for Gastroenterologists in Bay City, Michigan

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality gastroenterology services during scheduled on-call hours.
• Perform procedures including ERCP.
• Coordinate with hospitalist team and two colorectal surgeons.
• Consult with patients in a GI clinic located less than half a mile from the hospital.
• Maintain clear communication with healthcare staff and patients.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology (no exceptions for Board Eligible).
• Current Michigan medical license (IMLC accepted if dates are 60+ days out with proof of LOQ).
• ERCP proficiency is required.
• Local providers are preferred.
• No history of malpractice claims.

License and Certification Requirements:

• DEA registration required at the time of start.
• COVID vaccination required.
• Required immunizations include: Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Flu for the current season, and TDAP (within the last 10 years).
• TB test (2-step skin test within 12 months or Quantiferon within the last 6 months) and tuberculosis questionnaire are necessary.
