Gastroenterology Locums Assignment with No Call - Maine
Highlights:
- Immediate and Ongoing Need for 3-6 months or longer.
- High-demand locums assignment open to IMLC Physicians.
- Focus on core GI procedures without the complexity of ERCP.
Practice Setting:
- Enjoy a manageable volume of 14-16 patients per day in the clinic.
- Assignment is a mix of Inpatient and Outpatient coverage.
- Work with a full complement of highly-skilled support staff.
Schedule:
- Full-time, Block Scheduling available to ensure predictable time off.
- Work consistent M-F, 8-hour day shifts.
Procedures and Cases:
- Perform Lowers GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, and Colonoscopy.
- Required Upper GI Endoscopy includes Biopsy, Foreign Body Removal, and Variceal Banding.
- Therapeutic procedures are performed in the OR and possibly one day per week in the clinic.
Requirements & Credentialing:
- Must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- Open to Physicians with a current Maine license or an active IMLC Letter of Qualification.
