Join a high-performing Digestive Health Institute in Urbana where procedural efficiency, strong referral volume, and subspecialty support are already in place. This role supports both advanced interests such as IBD and motility as well as broad general GI, giving you the flexibility to practice in the lane that fits your training and goals.


Practice Details

  • Hospital-based GI service with a 10-bed procedure suite and access to a local ASC
  • Built-in GI hospitalist team covering the majority of annual call
  • Infrastructure in place for subspecialty IBD care, with research and fellowship involvement available
  • Centralized operations with clinic, procedures, and recovery all in one location

Schedule

  • Approximately 80 percent procedures and 20 percent clinic
  • Typical procedural volume of 10 to 12 cases per half day, wrapping up by late afternoon
  • Call shared across providers, covering inpatient consults and emergency department needs
  • Predictable workflow supported by swing-room scheduling

Compensation & Benefits

  • Guaranteed base salary with production incentives supporting high earning potential

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Fellowship training is welcomed but not required
  • Comfortable with high procedural volume in a hospital-based setting
  • Interest in general GI or subspecialty focus, such as IBD or motility
