Our client in Oconee County, SC is in need of a Locum Gastroenterology Physician for 3 month coverage!

Job Details:

• Shift: Mon, Wed, Fri 8a-3p (surgical center), Tues, Thurs 8a – 5p (clinic)
• Preferred start date: 8/5/2024
  
• Call coverage: Each provider rotates hospital call every other week.
• Practice Setting: Outpatient
• Patients per day: 14
• Skills required: GI Endoscopy (upper and lower) w/biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs laser), banding of varices, Esophageal dilation/manometry, small bowel biopsy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy w/biopsy and excision of polyp..
• Procedures not required: Internal Medicine, ERCP, EUS, Liver biopsy, Esophageal manometry interpretation or Insertion/mgmt. of Sengstaken or Blakemore tube.
  
• Support staff: 2 mid-levels, 2CMAs, 2 RNs, 2 Registration Staff, 1 Office Supervisor
• EMR: EPIC

Job Requirements:

• Board Certification
• SC state license or willing to obtain
• ACLS and BLS
• DEA
  
• 2 yrs+ Gastroenterology experience
• Clean background with no malpractice
