FULL-TIME COMPENSATION:
- $380,000 to $450,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience

They operate nearly 100 locations throughout Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island, providing full scope primary care, with specialty centers for gastroenterology, cardiology, physiatry, oncology, pediatrics, ophthalmology, and more.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new GI endoscopist specialist will provide outpatient care to patients within the scope of their specialty and training.

The duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

- diagnosing and treating acute illnesses in the field of gastroenterology
- diagnosing and treating chronic diseases and conditions in the field of gastroenterology
- performing endoscopies to diagnose GI disorders
- prescribing or administering medications, therapy, and other specialized medical care
- explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients
- monitoring patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluating treatments when necessary
- providing health and wellness advice to patients
- referring patients to other medical specialists as needed
- preparing official health documents and records as needed
- participating in group activities such as provider meetings and training sessions

Physicians are fully supported by trained clinical and administrative team members.

The practice uses the MDLand EHR.


REQUIREMENTS:
- New York medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification or Eligibility, Gastroenterology
