An endoscopy center adjacent to Des Moines, IA is looking for a Gastroenterologist to provide outpatient locum coverage, starting in June 2024. Open to considering providers able to cover 1, 2, or 3 weeks per month!

START DATE/DURATION/SCHEDULE/CALL:
  • Target Start: June 2024 (preferred)
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Shift Schedule/Hours: Mon-Fri, 8a-4p. (1, 2, or 3 weeks per month)
  • No Call, No Weekends.
DETAILS:
  • Setting: Endoscopy Center. Outpatient.
  • Colonoscopies and Endoscopies only.
  • Does not involve clinic.
  • ERCP is required. EUS is highly preferred, but not required.
  • 30 min procedures.
  • Uses conscious sedation.
  • 12-14 procedures per day.
  • Support Staff: 1-2 support nurses in each procedure room.
  • Adult only.
  • EMR: Provation.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 3 yrs of Residency)
  • Active Iowa License or IMLC.
  • BLS.
