Gastroenterologist Locums Job | Call Coverage North of Miami, Florida | Dates in May, June and July 2024

Dates of coverage: 7:00AM to 7:00AM, June 28-30, and July 5-7

» Location: southeastern Florida coast
» Active Florida license required
» Must be Board Certified, Fellowship preferred
» 100% inpatient 24-hour call coverage - will be doing patient rounding + coveringthe ED, trauma call coverage & any unassigned IP patient consults
» Can expect 4-8 calls per shift/day, averaging 6-8 emergent patients comingthrough the ED per week
» Can anticipate seeing an average of five patients per day when rounding which generally takes4-6 hours
» ERCP/EUS are not required procedures, only covering bread & butterGI
» Credentialing timeframe: 30 days, temp privileges available
» Facility details: Cerner EMR, 350+ beds, level 1 trauma center
