Clinical Details

• Outpatient and inpatient
• Rounding patients: assigned and unassigned
• Patients per shift: up to 12 for procedures, less inpatient
• Hospitalists admit
• Will be responsible for all charting and work completion without an assistant joining throughout the day
• Will be required to review all their pathology and complete the line of work by communicating with the nurses the letters they want to send their patients with results and follow up recommendations
• EGD. colonoscopy, pH studies, manometry, sigmoidoscopy, PEG/PEG-J tube placement
• 4 procedure rooms/ Endo suites
• Olympus, Hydrogen breath testing, Capsule endoscopy
• Propofol

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active MI License
• Fellowship - Preferred
• ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Full availability of the dates needed
• ERCP/EUS - Preferred

Call

• Beeper
• Call response time required: 20 minutes
• On call during entire assignment
• Phone consults: 2-4
• Patients seen: up to 12 per day

• Well established, highly accomplished Endo Unit team
