Practice Setting: GI of Alton, outpatient office with GI labs located at Alton Memorial Hospital on same campus.
Reason for Coverage: Maternity Leave for one of our providers
Schedule: No clinic schedule, all inpatient and and outpatient scheduled procedures. Three to four days a week, 7:30 to 2:30 pm, call schedule - 2 weeks per month
Call ratio - do not do by call ratio, one week at a time
Onsite Lab and E-Ray: Yes
Will outpatient GI and IM be required: Yes
Average Number of Patients Per Day: 12-14
How Many Physicians in Your Group? 3; One is leaving on maternity leave March 16; one retiring at the end of April.
Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Required Procedures: ERCP, Lower GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Small Bowel Biopsy
Required Types of Upper GI Endoscopy: Biopsy with Foreign Body Removal, with ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), Diagnostic, Therapeutic
Locum will need to follow up with their patients for any pathology needs/results.

Qualifications

Board Certified/Board Eligible - Strong preference for BC or a set date for testing for taking the boards. REQUIRED
IL state license - REQUIRED, no exceptions
Covid Vaccination - REQUIRED
