Clinical Information

• Patient ages: Adult
• On call
• EMR: Meditech & PK
  • eCW - Patient Keeper
• Gastro system: Provation
• Hospital support includes PAs, RNs
  • Practice support CMAs and PA
• 12 hr. in-house GI hospitalist support with 12 hrs of night off site call
• Standard services from GI physician expected
• Daily patient volume: 27
• Typical day: Scopes in the morning, generally start them at 8:00am, but call does start at 7am. Then rounding(patient care) and see any consults that are called in. Then to 2nd facility for the same thing. 2nd facility generally doesn’t have as many scopes, and not as many patients to round on. Then back to the hotel on evening pager
  • All of this take a full 12 hours, 7a-7p, some days

Required

• DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
• Current Flu Vaccine
• Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
  • Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
• Active SC License - preferred
• Board Certified
• DEA/CSR
• Able to perform ERCP
  • 7 - 10 done a week
