One of the town's claims to fame is its audacious New Year's Eve celebration, in which a 150 lb piece of Lebanon bologna is lowered at midnight. Be sure to check out Stoever's Dam Park, a gorgeous and expansive 124-acre park that offers camping, canoeing, fishing and hiking. The Coleman Park and Lauther Water Complex offers fun summer recreation for families. The Lebanon Valley Council of the Arts makes sure residents are never without captivating performing arts events all year long.
