Schedule
- Day shifts with no call
- Ideal coverage for 7am-7pm
- Any day or the week/weekend
Clinical Details
- Inpatient
- 8 - 10 Patients a day
- 3 - 4 Procedures on average per day
- 8-20 Consults and follow ups (it varies)
- Anesthesiologist on site 24/7
- Currently 2 GI physicians on staff
- No one is on call after 7pm, barely have anything emergent
- 1-2 monthly, if emergent then transferred to sister hospital
- Rounding on patients with GI consults and follow ups
- Hospitalists admit all GI patients and keep on hospitalist service
Requirements
- EUS not required
- ERCP - preferred
- Board Certified
- Active NJ license
- Will accept IMLC
- NJ CDS registration
- DEA with a NJ address
Support Staff
- Full Endoscopy suite with full staffing
- Mid level providers available for surgical and ortho cases, but not for GI
- low acuity hospital without a high census, so it does not justify it
