Bread + Butter Gastroenterology Locums Job in New Mexico | Seeking 10 Weekdays per Month of Clinic + Procedures Starting in June
Jackson + Coker is partnered with a southern New Mexico facility that is actively recruiting for a locum tenens Gastroenterologist who can assist with two weeks per month starting in June. This is a weekday, clinic/procedure opportunity with zero call coverage (night or weekend) responsibilities. Enjoy working a Monday - Friday clinic schedule every other week & getting to spend more time at home and with your family.
Dates of coverage needed:
* Seeking 2 weeks per month of Monday - Friday, 8A-5P clinic coverage starting June 2024
* No night or weekend call coverage responsibilities
* Ongoing assignment until a permanent GI is hired
Details/Requirements for Assignment #100715:
-- Active & unrestricted New Mexico license, DEA + CSR is required (we can assist with licensing if able to start process immediately)
-- Board Certification or true Eligibility required
-- Bread & Butter GI clinic + procedure coverage
-- Can anticipate an average of 15-20 PPD in the clinic
-- Can anticipate doing an average of 12-15 scheduled procedures on outpatient procedure days
-- Will have full anesthesia support (no moderate sedation required)
-- Support staff consists of one highly trained GI nurse in the clinic / outpatient surgery center (no mid-levels currently)
-- Will not need call coverage support due to the main hospital employing GI's who cover the schedule
-- Reason for need: losing a part-time GI in June
-- Facility details: Cerner EMR, clinic is attached to main facility (less than 100 beds)
