Locum Gastroenterologist needed in West Virginia.

  • Hospital Setting
  • inpatient GI coverage. 7 on shift inpatient consultation plus procedures to manage one of two teams.
  • Average Patient Volume – Consult volume vary with patient census averaging 25 patients
  • EMR Cerner
  • Start date as soon as credentialed. 60 days to credential. No West Virginia license plan for June
  • Support staff: NP’s Monday – Friday
  • General or ERCP
  • WV License or IMLC preferred

Job Responsibilities

Gastroenterology needing inpatient GI coverage. 7 on shift inpatient consultation plus procedures to manage one of two teams.
3rd position would cover 7 on, alternating with current faculty. Total of 3 locum need.

Qualifications

· Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
· License required: WV
· DEA: yes
· Certifications required: ACLS

Working Hours

Start Date: 60 days to credential. No West Virginia license plan for a June start. 
Contract Length: 12 months
Shift Details: 7 on 7 off/options for 7 on 7 off or 14 on 14 off
