Gastroenterology - Lower GI Motility Position

Join an established and growing nationally ranked academic Gastroenterology Division developing a Center of Excellence in Lower GI Motility

* Become an integral part of a growing Gastroenterology department comprising 11 physicians with specialized APP support. The current team includes a physician dedicated to Motility within the group and looking to expand the Neurogastro-Motility team and establish a Center of Excellence.
* Enjoy the opportunity to develop a motility-focused GI practice and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Gastroenterology, Surgery, Nutrition, Psychology, and APP staff, all dedicated to Lower GI Motility.
* Benefit from a nationally-renowned Gastroenterology Division, featuring expertise in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy, Complex Esophageal Disorders, Mobility Disorders, Liver, Pancreas, and Biliary Tract Diseases.
* Join our esteemed GI & Hepatology Fellowship Teaching Faculty, featuring an ACGME-accredited, three-year training program. Our program actively participates in the National Medical Specialties Matching Program, offering a total of 12 training positions and 1 Transplant Hepatology position. We also offer a non-ACGME accredited Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship, offering a total of 1 training position per year.
* Access state-of-the-art facilities, including an outpatient 6-room endoscopy ambulatory surgical care unit and an inpatient 6-room endoscopy suite.
* Share the call schedule with GI Fellows and 11 physicians at Tampa General Hospital, where USF GI Division is the sole provider for gastroenterological care. (Hepatology and Transplant Hepatology care is provided by a separate service.)
* Share the inpatient service with GI Fellows and gastroenterology colleagues, for 1-2 weeks at a time, rotating through all USF GI colleagues, throughout the year.
* Engage in research and clinical trials in Neurogastro-Motility with colleagues in GI Surgery and other specialties.
* Be part of Centers of Excellence in Advanced Endoscopy, Swallowing Center, and Liver Diseases.
