Huge Locum Opportunity for a GI Hospitalist in Springfield, OR
We are looking for 4 Locum GI Physicians!
ALL Travel Covered - Top Hourly Rate!!!
Hourly Rate + Weeknight call rate + Gratis Hours negotiable + Call back rate
Must be Board Certified - Must be OR licensed - Covid Vaccine is required.
Certifications Required: ERCP, ACLS
Reason for Coverage: Piloting GI Hospitalist Program at SHMC-RB
Credentialing Timeframe: 60+ Days
Dates of Coverage: Target Mid-September start
LOA: 6-12 month contracts with option to extend.
Setting: Hospital only, Adult Inpatient • Daily Responsibilities: Rounding, new consults and procedures
Shift/Schedule:
Mondays @ 0700 thru Saturdays @ 0700. 12 hours w/overnight call
Expected 5 on / 9 off rotation.
5 days/week with weekends off
12 hour shifts with night call
Not required to be in facility overnight but will be on call
Call Schedule/Responsibilities: Overnight call required during scheduled work weeks
PPD/Census: ~10
Number of Providers Per Shift & Support Staff: Provider will be the only inpatient GI physician but will have access to specialty consultants, as needed & will have ability to connect w/outpatient GI colleagues for workflow questions, etc.
Procedures Required/Preferred: Rounding, new consults and procedures
EMR: EPIC, Proficient User
