  • General GI- care of acute and chronic GI conditions, new patient access, endoscopies, hospital consults. Expect median productivity. Group will work with the locum physician on call expectations- prefer as much call coverage as possible, open to multiple candidates. Patient admits and rounding.
  • Typical Week: 2 full days per week in office 8-5; 2 ½ days in surgery; ½ day flex
  • Avg Clinic Patients Per Day: 20
  • Typical Call Shift: Most are phone consults and cases done in OR next day
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Licensure: Active IL license
  • DEA Required: Yes
  • Board Status: Board Certified, Board Eligible (within 12 months of residency)

Required Procedures:
General GI- care of acute and chronic GI conditions, new patient access, endoscopies, hospital consults

Required Certifications:
BLS, ACLS – no additional certs for GI

Travel: Local is ideal but not required

EMR: EPIC


SHIFT/SCHEDULE INFORMATION:

*Both weekday and weekend coverage needed*

Weekday shift: 8a-5p (clinic and surgery days)

Weeknight Pager call: 5p-8a yes

Weekend call: Fri 5p – Mon 8a
