Genie Healthcare is looking for an Interventional GI locum to start as soon as credentialed at 2 locations in IL.Schedule: M-F 7a - 5:30pm, 24 hour call on the weekends. 1 FTE, will accept multiple providers to fill position if needed.EMR: EPICNumber of Office/Clinic Patients Per Locum Per Day: 20Number of Hospital Based Patients Per Locum Per Day: 12Physicians in Your Group? 13Number of Patients Per Day: 15Level I Trauma CenterRequired Procedures: Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry, Esophageal Manometry Interpretation, Small Bowel Biopsy, Lower GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube, Capsule Deployment, Bravo, PH impedance, Breath test Interpretation, Esophogeal and Anorectal Manometry Interpretation and Endoflip.Estimated 3 month credentialing timeframeThis specific posting is for an Interventional Gastroenterologist to cover on-call for a Medical Center (consult calls may be received from another Hospital but interventional GI procedures only performed at Medical Center as patients requiring intervention would be transferred to Medical Center. Additional clinical responsibilities and opportunities will be performing GI procedures in the Medical Center hospital campus GI Labs.This posting is specifically looking for a provider to perform therapeutic procedures such as ERCP and EUS.
