A level I trauma center is seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Maywood, Illinois, which is incredibly close to Chicago. While you're there check out the windy city. Now you may have heard of the Bean at Millennium Park in Chicago, but have you been to the first-ever original deep-dish pizza restaurant, Pizzeria Uno? Before leaving Chicago, make sure to walk around the Navy Pier as well for all kinds of sights and attractions.
An IL license at the time of submission is highly preferred and a COVID vaccine is required. The clinician must be able to perform therapeutic procedures such as ERCP and EUS. The schedule is Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 5:30pm. The EMR system is EPIC. The credentialing timeframe is 3 months. The required procedures include Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry, Esophageal Manometry Interpretation, Small Bowel Biopsy, Lower GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube, Capsule Deployment, Bravo, PH Impedance, Breath test Interpretation, Esophageal, Anorectal Manometry Interpretation, and Endoflip.

Dates Needed: May - Ongoing, FT coverage needed (will accept PT)
Call Ratio/Schedule: 24 hour call on weekends, M-F 0700-1730
Case Load/PPD: Number of Office/Clinic Patients Per Locum Per Day: 20 • Number of Hospital Based Patients Per Locum Per Day: 12
