Outpatient hospital
Reason for coverage: high demand for scopes and behind on scheduling - needing extra help
Patient demographic: Adults in the endoscopy suite
Lab onsite
X-ray onsite
12-14 patients per day
EMR: Allscripts
EIther ACLS, APLS, PALS, NALS, or ATLS cert is required because this role needs moderate sedation privileges for scoping and CPR certification is required to obtain moderate sedation privileges
Required procedures listed in attached practice description
60 day credentialing timeframe
Lodging choices must be approved in advance before booking
Our expectation is to find a physician to perform a minimum of 12 endoscopies per day, 5 days per week.
Looking for candidates with clean malpractice records preferably. It is hard to get approval with Medical Staff for providers with any active/recent malpractice cases in the last 10-20 years.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Board Certified or Eligible - required
Must be interested in Locum to Perm - Note at time of name clear
Active IA license or IMLC in hand - required
Must have an active life support in order to obtain moderate sedation privileges - required
Must be available full time for a 6 month assignment - required
Clean background/malpractice - required
Covid vaccinated? - note at time of name clear
