Gastroenterologist needed in the greater Sacramento area

Job Details

• BC/BE in Gastroenterology
• Employed position with partnership track (after 2 years)
• Active Medical License in California or willing to obtain
• Full time - 40% clinic / 60% OR-Procedures
• Clinic day = 20 scheduled patients per day
• Clinic has a procedure room
• 2-3 days in OR or surgery center
• Average 100-120 OR procedures per month
• Typical GI procedures: EGD, PEG placement, colonoscopy, flex sig, ERCP
• **ERCP is desirable, but not required - we have low volume for ERCP**
• Call: will be 1:4 with new hire.
• **Each physician will take one week of call at a time
• **Typical Weekend call - 0-3 consults/procedures per call day
• **Weekday call 24 hours, starts at 8 am
• EMR system: Cerner
• Signing bonus and relocation assistance
