We are seeking a board certified or board eligible Gastroenterologist to join a large multispecialty group in the Bronx. This opportunity includes outpatient clinic responsibilities as well as procedural work in a surgery center and/or hospital setting.
J1 Waiver, CONRAD 30, and H1B visa sponsorship available.

Job Summary
The Gastroenterologist will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. Responsibilities include performing endoscopic procedures and collaborating with primary care physicians and specialists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions

Perform upper endoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy

Diagnose and treat disorders of the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and biliary system

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Interpret laboratory studies, imaging, and pathology results

Collaborate with oncologists, surgeons, and other specialists when appropriate
-
Provide follow-up care and manage chronic GI conditions
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
Qualifications
-
MD or DO
-
Completion of Internal Medicine residency
-
Completion of accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (ABIM)
-
Active New York State medical license (or ability to obtain)
-
Proficiency in endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures

Strong clinical and communication skills
-
Bilingual Spanish is a plus
