Type of Coverage: Call only
DATES NEEDED:
Jan 5-11th
Feb 2-8th
Mar 2 - 8th
Mar 30-Apr 5
Dates of Coverage Needed ongoing: 2 weeks/mo Each provider
End Date: (or ongoing) ongoing
Inpatient / ER setting with 74 beds. Call does included unreferred ER calls.
Procedures:
Upper GI endoscopy Required
* with biopsy Required
* with foreign body removal Required
* with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser) Required
* With injection of varices Required
* ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) Preferred but not required on IP's
**Diagnostic Preferred but not required on IP's
**therapeutic Preferred but not required on IP's
* With PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) Required
Esophageal dilatation/manometry Dilation required
Esophageal manometry interpretation Not required
Small Bowel biopsy Required proximal SB
Lower GI endoscopy Required
Sigmoidoscopy Required
* Flexible Required
* Rigid Required
Colonoscopy Required
* with biopsy Required
* with excision of polyp Required
