Bread & Butter Gastroenterology Locums Job in Virginia | August Start for Ongoing Coverage

Jackson & Coker is partnered with an esteemed Virginia health system seeking GI locums coverage for one of their facilities. Could use up to 2-3 weeks per month of coverage with an August start. Ideally, interested candidates who are willing to cover on an ongoing basis for at least a year and can cover a minimum of seven consistent days of coverage each month.

Description/Requirements for Assignment #87019:
* Active & unrestricted Virginia license required
* Seeking two to three weeks per month of inpatient/scope coverage + night and weekend call coverage
* Schedule will primarily be Monday - Friday doing inpatient endo services (possibility of also doing outpatient work M-F) with night & weekend call coverage
* Average of 8-12 patients per day in endo - most of the time being double (EGDs & colons)
* Weekend 24-hour call coverage (will have rounding, consults, emergent procedures, etc.)
* ERCP and EUS not required
* You will have APP support to work alongside
* Credentialing takes three to four months so anticipating an August start date after factoring in credentialing
* Facility detail: 500+ bed facility, designated trauma center, Epic EMR, located in western Virginia
