Queens, New York - Medical Director opportunity

  • Seeking an MD or DO for a Medical Director position - board certification not required
  • Reason for need: Current director relocating out of state
  • Immediate need- ASAP
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in leadership/supervisory role in a medical environment
  • Inpatient chemical dependency treatment program
  • Acts as liaison in coordination of activities and problem solving among the administrative and clinical leaders of the network
  • Medical director is an integral member of the professional medical staff with respect to patient care and management
  • Travel to upstate location one day per week- company covers for tolls, mileage, and lodging
  • Must be licensed in New York, have current DEA registration, have CPR certification, valid New York state Medicaid number and unrestricted to participate in all Medicare/Medicaid programs, valid NPI number, Narcotic education certificate, infection control
