Job Description

Last Update: 10/10/22
An outpatient family medicine physician as well as an internist is needed at a federally qualified health center in Texas. The facility is accepting experienced candidates who are board certified or board eligible with some Spanish language skills. Final-year residents are welcome to apply. You will work closely with advanced practice providers. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with two Saturdays per month and shared call. The incoming family medicine physician will see 20 patients per day on average. This position will require a TX license. If you do not currently hold a license in Texas, CompHealth can help you obtain one.

You will receive a competitive compensation package, quarterly productivity bonuses, health benefits, dental and vision, eight holidays, sick days, and 15 days of PTO. You will also be provided with NHSC loan repayment, relocation assistance, paid license and membership fee, a sign-on, long and short term disability, life insurance, five days of CME time with $1K stipend, a retirement package, and paid malpractice insurance.

Come live and practice in this Texas town. It has plenty of delicious places to dine, a seasonal farmer's market, and great places to shop. The town is nestled along the Colorado River and features history, beauty, festivals, museums, concerts, antiques, air shows, feasts, and an annual fair. It's also only a short drive away from Austin, TX.

Let CompHealth know if this position sounds like a good fit for you. CompHealth has the largest client network in the nation, giving you the most family medicine jobs to choose from locally and nationally.
