Harris Family Care – Cullowhee is located in the state-of-the-art College of Health and Human Sciences Building at Western Carolina University. The practice is adjacent to physical therapy and sports medicine clinics operated by the university in partnership with Harris Regional Hospital and Swain Community Hospital. The classroom and lab home to more than 1,200 undergraduate students and 300 graduate students, the 160,000 sq. ft. building provides a busy atmosphere for providing primary care for the community and education for students. Harris Family Care – Cullowhee is an important access point for a key part of the hospitals’ service area, serving WCU, Cullowhee, Tuckasegee, Glenville, and southern Jackson County all of which experience seasonal increases in population.
