We are seeking a referral and would appreciate your assistance.
Do you know of a Family Medicine Physician with Urgent Care experience or an Emergency Medicine Physician available to work in an Urgent Care on the weekends? We are looking for a full-time physician as well.
We are not accepting Visa candidates - reference: AHCPPI
The ideal candidate MUST be a current & preferred provider with Blue Cross, Medicare & Medicaid. Viva would be a plus!
Urgent Care with two facilities and there is a possibility the doctor would rotate between them.
EHR: Medisys. Both locations have triage with Drs standing orders prior to seeing the patient.
1. Location: 30 minutes from Birmingham
Saturday & Sunday hours: 11a-9p
Census: 35-40 patients per/day
Single Physician Staffed
2. Location: 45 minutes from Birmingham
Saturday & Sunday hours: 10a-10p
Census: 100-120 patients per/day
Double Staffed by either 2 docs or 1 doc and 1 NP
Requirements: Must be Board Certified in EM or FM with urgent care experience, have a current & unrestricted AL Medical License & DEA, Clean Databank and No current significant malpractice history.
