Greetings,

Maxim Health seeking Physicians with a Family Practice background, for a locums contract in Carlsbad, TX. This is a full time position with no weekends or on call responsibilities. The physician is responsible for providing high-quality service in an outpatient setting.

Essential Job Functions:

Attends work on a regular basis Participates in interdisciplinary planning conference and personal support team meetings for individuals that reside at the State Supported Living Center and provides medical information to parents as appropriate. Performs daily routine sick call clinics for assigned units to include evaluation of illness, injury, and abuse/neglect; rotates on call duties to include nights and weekends. Prepares annual medical reports for the residents with complete assessment and yearly objectives and laboratory analysis. Refer and consult with the admitting physician at the local hospital when necessary. Provide treatment to HHS employees injured in course and scope of employment.

Registration or Licensure Requirements:

• Current TX Medical License licensed
• Current DEA required
