An IHS clinic/hospital is seeking a family medicine physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage starting ASAP.
The facility is located in southwestern Alaska. Credentialing takes 3-6 weeks.
This would be a combination of urgent care clinic 8 am-5 pm and ER call 8 am-8 pm and some 8 pm-8 am per schedule needs. All physicians cover all aspects of the schedule. Patients are all ages - newborns to geriatrics. The facility wants a provider that can easily and comfortably transition between a urgent care setting and the ER and inpatient setting and someone that is also comfortable with OB deliveries.
Candidates must be BC or BE with ER experience within past two years, BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and NRP.
