Multi Specialty group seeking IM, FP, UC and OBGYN in the San Jose area.
We are seeking Candidates preferably who have ties (family, educational, or professional) to the San Jose, San Francisco, or surrounding county areas. San Jose is an amazing place to live, but is also an expensive place to live. This Client will conduct initial phone interviews with candidates to ascertain the reasons they are considering San Jose.
There is one hospital that is primarily serviced, with additional Hospitalist services at two other hospitals and with additional service at one other facility. This is a multi-specialty clinic in the Willow Glen, McKee, and Good Samaritan areas of San Jose. The Urgent Care is located in the Willow Glen area. Primary Care positions are being recruited for all sites including another affiliated practice around Morgan Hill. An OB is being recruited for its clinic, which is 1/2 block from the Hospital and has perineal program, a 24 hour in-house neonatal program and maternity Hospitalist program.
The multi-specialty hospitalist program at Seton Medical Center in Daly City which is just south of San Francisco staffs 3 Hospitalists during the day and 1 at night. They also staff the ICU at SMC with 1 ICU critical care physician during the day and 1 at night. The other two facilities the Hospitalists do not cover the ICU.
The clinic shifts are as follows:
Urgent Care- mostly 12 hour shifts with some split shifts. The urgent care centers are open 7 days per week, 52 weeks per year.
Primary Care- Shifts are Monday- Friday, 8 hour shifts. Phone coverage is approximately once per month from 5Pm-10PM and exchange is utilized. SJMG clinics uncle family practice and internal medicine physicians for primary care. Pediatric offices two branches that are close by.

OB/GYN- Shifts are 4 days per week, 8 hour shifts. Call is 1:3 serves 1 hospital only, but may be asked to go to another hospital close by to assist with Gyn Onc patients, which is optional. Practice is weighted with more Gyn then OB.
Benefit package is excellent, and will be presented after first telephone interview. Physician salaries commensurate with experience: 0-3 years and 4+ years. Please do not ask about salary until a telephone interview has been completed. Salaries are competitive with Palo Alto, Stanford, and Kaiser. Foreign Medical Graduates with the right to work in the US will be considered. No visas are being accepted.
Requirements: Must be BC/BE, have a current or pending CA License, have a current & unrestricted DEA, Clean Databank and No current significant malpractice history.
