Family Practice Opportunity in New Hampshire

Nationally recognized facility in New Hampshire is seeking a BE/BC Family Practice provider to join their team to accommodate growth and to replace a physician who is retiring. Facility offers integrated care including, primary care, dental, behavioral health, and support services. They currently provide care to over 11,000 patients with over 40,000 visits at one of their multiple delivery locations with a staffing compliment of 125. These locations are strategically placed amidst several towns in their service area.

This is a full-time employed outpatient only position. However, physicians interested in nursing home would have the additional opportunity. Provider may qualify for State Loan Repayment.

Call is very limited and phone only. No inpatient responsibilities
Full-time is 30 patient contact hours-flexible scheduling offered, i.e.; 4-day work week. The facility is interested in staff having a highly fulfilling professional / personal life experience.

Estimated census: 2-3 patients per hour. Call (phone only) is shared once per week, and 1:6 weekends. EMR is implemented. Patient Mix: 30% commercial, 40% Medicare, 10% self-pay and 20% Medicaid

Competitive base salary – Internal Average is $195,506 based on NACHC Salary Data for FQHC in Rural Federal Region. It is based on budget, visits, patient panel, sites, etc., this is between the average of 184,277 and the 75th percentile of 199,658. Two factors are important to note when comparing salary data.
First NH has NO PERSONAL INCOME TAX. Second NH has NO SALES TAX!
As such dollars earned in NH, not being taxed ostensibly increases your “real wage” by 5-10% in comparison to MA, ME, VT, CT, RI who all have significant personal income and sales taxes.
