Description: Hiring a Geriatrician (MD or DO) for a long-term care facility that provides a full range of care solutions including nursing home care, managed long-term care, assisted living programs, senior housing, rehabilitation services and specialized services such as elder abuse prevention and memory care. The Geriatrician (MD or DO) will be a part of an organization that empowers patients, residents and members to live a healthy life. Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct medical and on-call care to approximately 100 geriatric residents
  • Serve on interdisciplinary care teams
  • Liaise with family members regarding resident care decisions
  • Differentials available

Education Requirements:

  • Current NYS medical license
  • MD/DO degree from an accredited college
  • Board Certified in internal medicine or family medicine
  • CAQ Geriatrics preferred

Background Profile:

  • Experience in clinical geriatric medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of EMR
