This is an opportunity for Family Medicine physicians just one hour from the Twin Cities! Traditional Family Medicine practice. Call is 2-3 times per month. 4 1/2 day work week. Hospital is adjacent to clinic and comprised of 4 ICU beds, 4 OR rooms, and 12 ED exam rooms.. Full back-up from all subspecialties. Comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary guarantee. Thriving community of over 25,000 people, boasting one of the strongest economies in Minnesota. Located just 38 miles west of Rochester, MN and 60 miles south of Minneapolis/St. Paul, this community is home to more than 40 industrial business firms as well as the headquarters for Federated Insurance. Excellent family friendly area with phenomenal 4 season recreation including biking, hiking, lake living, arts and recreation and plenty of sports activities including golf and tennis.. OB option if you desire: The average number of deliveries varies from a low of 15 to 20 per year to a high of 60 per year (long established physician). In FM they are given the opportunity to deliver own patients first. When the patient shows up on labor and delivery, the nurses will page the FM physician first and If they are unavailable then it goes to the on-call provider. .
