Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) has an exciting Locum need for PEDIATRICIAN (BC or BE within 1 year of Residency) OR FAMILY MEDICINE WITH PEDS EXPERIENCE physician in MI.
COVERAGE DATES: Nov. 26, 2018 - Mar. 1, 2019. Assignment to extend 3 months at a time. SHIFTS: M-F. Could be four 10-hr shifts, five 8-hr shifts or three 12-hr shifts.Family Health Center is looking for a Locum who provides comprehensive primary, internal medicine and/or urgent health care to patients of all ages and genders throughout their lifespan, following standards and practices. Required Procedures: Adult outpatient, General pediatric outpatient, Pelvic exam / pap smear, Colposcopy, Endometrial biopsyIUD insertion / removal, Non-displaced fractures, Trigger point / joint injections, Skin/tissue biopsy, Suturing of minor lacerations, I&D (Incision & Drainage)Psychiatric - uncomplicated adult, child/adolescent and geriatric, Diagnosis & management of common industrial-related medical problems.
PRACTICE DETAILS:- Average # of scheduled patients per day: 22- # of Physicians in practice: 18- # of mid-levels providing coverage: 2- Ancillary staff: Medical Receptionist, MA, LPN, RN- EMR is Epic- # of Exam Rooms: 12- 80% adult, 5% geriatric, 10% peds, 5% OB Submission. Requirements: Board Certified in Family Medicine with peds experience (BE within 1 year of residency) - Required MI license at time of Submission- Required Active DEA license - Required Clean Background - Required 1+ years of related experience - Preferred Local provider preferred as facility will not cover the cost of flight or rental car.Facility is looking for 1 Locum to fill the need Monday - Friday.CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:* BLS* DEA* BC (or BE within 1 year of Residency).
