Job description
Step into a primary care model where your day is designed around thoughtful medicine rather than patient volume. This Senior Care Physician opportunity in Brandon, Florida gives you the time to understand complex health needs, build trust with patients and caregivers, and take a proactive approach to healthy aging. With intentionally smaller panels and extensive clinical and operational support, you can spend more of your day practicing medicine and less of it managing administrative demands.
Position Highlights
- Monday through Friday clinic schedule, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Patient panels intentionally capped at approximately 500
- Average of approximately 12-13 patient visits per day
- 45-minute new patient visits and 30-minute routine follow-ups
- Dedicated time for care coordination, follow-ups, and same-day patient needs
- Phone-only call rotation approximately once every 6–8 months
Practice Environment
- Physician-led, relationship-based primary care dedicated to adults age 65+
- Approximately three Medical Assistants per physician
- Dedicated MRA coder supporting documentation and risk adjustment
- Centralized billing and medical records teams
- Center Manager and regional clinical operations support
- Access to in-office procedures including injections, wound care, EKGs, spirometry, memory testing, and on-site lab draws
- eClinicalWorks and Epic platforms with continued transition toward Epic
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary plus review bonus and clinic performance bonus

Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related primary care specialty
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
- Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain one
- Primary care, managed care, or value-based care experience, or completion of an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Passion for developing meaningful, long-term relationships with senior patients
- Medicare Advantage or value-based care experience preferred
- Commitment to preventive care, healthy aging, and measurable patient outcomes
