Practice primary care with the time and support to truly know your patients. This Senior Care Physician opportunity in Brooksville, Florida is built around a relationship-based model where quality takes priority over volume. With smaller patient panels, longer appointments, and a highly supported clinical environment, physicians can focus on proactive care, thoughtful decision-making, and meaningful long-term relationships with the seniors they serve.
Position Highlights
- Monday through Friday clinic schedule, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Patient panels intentionally capped at approximately 500
- Average of approximately 12-13 patient visits per day
- 45-minute new patient visits and 30-minute routine follow-ups
- Dedicated time built into the schedule for care coordination and unscheduled patient needs
- Phone-only call rotation approximately once every 6-8 months
- Opportunity to help support the growth of a new Brooksville senior care location
Practice Environment
- Physician-led, value-based primary care model dedicated to adults age 65+
- Relationship-based, value-focused approach emphasizing prevention and healthy aging
- Approximately three Medical Assistants per physician
- Dedicated MRA coding support plus centralized billing and medical records teams
- Center Manager and regional clinical operations support
- eClinicalWorks and Epic platforms with an organization-wide transition toward Epic
- Access to a broad range of in-office procedures and diagnostic services
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary plus review bonus and clinic performance bonus

Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related primary care specialty
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
- Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain one
- Primary care, managed care, or value-based care experience, or completion of an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Passion for caring for older adults and building lasting patient relationships
- Collaborative approach to working with specialists and multidisciplinary care teams
- Commitment to proactive care, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement
